Basketball Recap: Twin Loup Has No Trouble Against Elba

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Anselmo-Merna, Twin Loup was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Elba Bluejays 49-31. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-33 back in December of 2024.

Several Bluejays players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addison Wysocki, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. Marena Paczosa was another key player, putting up six points.

Twin Loup's record is now 6-14. As for Elba, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Looking ahead, Twin Loup will challenge Sumner-Eddyville-Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Loup is facing Sumner-Eddyville-Miller at the right time seeing as Sumner-Eddyville-Miller is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Elba, they will square off against Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
