It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Cloudcroft ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Mountainair Mustangs with a sharp 49-27 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Cloudcroft's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Mountainair, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
