Softball Recap: Whitehall-Yearling Takes a Loss

Whitehall-Yearling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Buckeye Valley Barons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Barons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in April.

Whitehall-Yearling saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrie Deschaine, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Whitehall-Yearling's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Buckeye Valley, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Whitehall-Yearling does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buckeye Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Pickerington North at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
