Basketball Recap: Acadiana Christian Comes Up Short

Acadiana Christian played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the ARC Academy Warriors and fell 68-35. The Lions were down 48-24 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Koch, who posted two points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Fontenot, who scored 13 points.

Acadiana Christian now has a losing record of 2-3.

Acadiana Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Faith Training Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 9. ARC Academy has already played their next contest (against John Paul the Great Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
