Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to the Garfield Bulldogs. The game marked the Yankees' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Hamilton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Garrett Anderson, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 13 points along with six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Mitchell, who posted 12 points.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Garfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Hamilton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 83-41 win against Bravo on the 18th. Garfield has also already played their next match, a 55-47 loss against Arleta on the 18th.
