Evan Solomon put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Tuesday. He struck out two batters over one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Solomon's strong effort led George County over Jim Hill and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
