University School of Jackson turns things around after tough road loss

There's no place like home for the University School of Jackson Bruins, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 61-39 margin over South Fulton. For University School of Jackson, this counts as revenge for the 50-31 defeat South Fulton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

University School of Jackson found their leader in underclassman Haylen Ayers, who scored 35 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Ayers has scored at least 25% of University School of Jackson's points. Ellen Driver was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

University School of Jackson's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for South Fulton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

University School of Jackson will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Varsity Opponent is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for South Fulton, they will face off against Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arlington will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while South Fulton is ranked 83rd).
