McHenry has gone 9-1 against Cary-Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Warriors will welcome the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Neither McHenry nor Cary-Grove posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for McHenry's offense. They lost 6-0 to Huntley on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Cary-Grove also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Central by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

McHenry dropped their record down to 9-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Cary-Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. McHenry hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .335. However, it's not like Cary-Grove struggles in that department as they've averaged .317. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
