Harnett Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Midway Raiders by a score of 3-1. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Midway lost, don't look at Abbie Beasley. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and two assists. Kaedyn Moran was another key player, hitting 78.4% for 33 kills and 14 digs and four aces.

Looking ahead, Harnett Central will be playing at home against Jack Britt at 5:45 p.m. on the 20th. As for Midway, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cleveland at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
