Softball Recap: Baldwin-Woodville Comes Up Short

Baldwin-Woodville fell victim to Somerset and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 1-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Blackhawks were not able to get on the board.

Baldwin-Woodville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Somerset, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Baldwin-Woodville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somerset, they will take on McDonell Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
