Basketball Recap: Lackawanna Trail Falls Short of Old Forge in the Playoffs

Lackawanna Trail and Old Forge squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lackawanna Trail had to settle for second. They lost 54-32 to the Old Forge Blue Devils. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost five in a row.

Lackawanna Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Old Forge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Lackawanna Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Old Forge, they will take on Sayre at 4:00 p.m. on March 8th.
