Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Mountain View came into Friday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Harmony School of Innovation Wolves 3-0 on Friday. The Lobos not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mountain View took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-3, 25-13.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 2-7-1. As for Harmony School of Innovation, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Mountain View and Harmony School of Innovation will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lobos will square off against rival Ysleta at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harmony School of Innovation is set to take on their familiar foe Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
