Christian Home Educators Fellowship came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool Paladins as they made off with a 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Trevor St. Cyr made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. St. Cyr was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hank Pearce, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke Babin, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .567 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship's record is now 9-7. As for Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
