Basketball Recap: Hopkinton Comes Up Short

Hopkinton was the 83-75 winner over Westwood when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Hopkinton Hillers fell 48-35 to the Westwood Wolverines on Tuesday. The contest marked the Hillers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Hopkinton's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Westwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hopkinton will venture away from home to challenge Ashland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopkinton is facing Ashland at the right time seeing as Ashland is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Westwood, they will face off against Dedham at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dedham comes in on three and Westwood on eight.
