Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Teresa). Everything went their way against the Chaparral Lobos on Saturday as they made off with a 27-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Desert Warriors, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Santa Teresa and bumps their season record up to 11-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 24.5 runs over those games. As for Chaparral, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Coming up, Santa Teresa will head out to challenge Deming at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaparral, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Silver at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fighting Colts will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Lobos surely won't give up without a fight.
