Cam Johnson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Cam Johnson was instrumental in extending Corvian Community's winning streak to seven on Friday. Johnson made a major impact, rushing for 148 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.9). His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Corvian Community Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to AJ Jackson Jr.
AJ Jackson Jr.'s big game helped extend Corvian Community's winning streak to seven on Friday. Jackson Jr. did his part (and then some), rushing for 56 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 197 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes for the 'W'.
For the season, Jackson Jr. has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 107.4 passing yards per game.

Alex Waterfield Delivers Best Performance of Season
Bishop McGuinness was led to victory by Alex Waterfield, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Waterfield threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 58 yards.
Waterfield might have his next game, a road matchup with Mountain Island Charter, circled on his calendar. When Waterfield last faced the Raptors back in October of 2023, he threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 124 yards.

Gaither Came Up Big in Pine Lake Prep's 34-14 Defeat
Pine Lake Prep was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Johntay Gaither did his best to prevent it. Despite the loss, Gaither was still balling out as he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
On the season, Gaither has averaged 31.1 receiving yards per game.

Oliver Morris Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Oliver Morris of Community School of Davidson. Morris picked up 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Community School of Davidson: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
The win was the fourth in a row for Community School of Davidson, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Morris and Community School of Davidson will face off against Corvian Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
