Charlevoix has gone 8-2 against Elk Rapids recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rayders will take on the Elks at 7:00 p.m. Charlevoix will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Charlevoix's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Benzie Central 42-0. The Rayders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 42 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elk Rapids). They slipped by Mancelona 15-14 on Friday.

Charlevoix's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Elk Rapids, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Charlevoix against Elk Rapids when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 28-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rayders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
