Basketball Game Preview: Bartlett Indians vs. Oxford Pirates

The Bartlett Indians and the Oxford Pirates will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Bartlett will be strutting in after a victory while Oxford will be coming in after a defeat.

Bartlett took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They escaped with a win against Leicester by the margin of a single free throw, 53-52.

Meanwhile, Oxford was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt an 82-46 defeat at the hands of Northbridge.

The win got Bartlett back to even at 2-2. As for Oxford, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Bartlett beat Oxford 55-48 in their previous matchup back in February. Will Bartlett repeat their success, or does Oxford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
