Soccer Game Preview: Bartlett vs. West Anchorage

Bartlett hasn't had much luck against West Anchorage recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Golden Bears will welcome the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Bartlett has given up an average of 5.4 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bartlett is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Dimond, who was ranked first at the time (Bartlett was ranked 15th). The Golden Bears lost 10-0 to the Lynx on Monday.

Meanwhile, West Anchorage and Eagle River finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

The Eagles' goal came courtesy of Emery Bryan, who's now up to two this season.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. West Anchorage's draw gives them a new season record of 2-5-2.
