Volleyball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty lost against Hempfield back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hurricanes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Black Knights.

Sofia Condoulis paced Liberty's offense, picking up three kills. Condoulis got some help from Mia Mitch and her five assists. Lanie Schenkel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Liberty now has a losing record of 2-3.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Pope John Paul II on the 6th. As for Hempfield, they will take on Cedar Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
