Softball Recap: Madison Plains Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Madison Plains, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Catholic Central Irish on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Irish: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Abi Lindsey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lyla Coil, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Madison Plains was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
