Baseball Recap: Peters Township Takes a Loss

Peters Township came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss last Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Bethel Park Black Hawks by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Michael Alspaugh made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Peters Township's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 2.5 runs. As for Bethel Park, their record is now 8-3.
