Softball Recap: Warren County Wins Going Away Against Northwest Halifax

Warren County won against Northwest Halifax last Tuesday with 21 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Warren County was the clear victor by a 21-6 margin over Northwest Halifax. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won eight in a row.

Mariah Harris was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of ZaKiyah Macklin, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Warren County's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Northwest Halifax, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
