Volleyball Recap: Pacheco Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Turlock Christian on Wednesday, Pacheco came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Los Banos Tigers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Pacheco was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Los Banos work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 22-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Aliyah Rodriguez paced Pacheco's offense, picking up seven kills. Rodriguez got some help from Isabella Chavez and her ten assists. Olivia Rosas controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pacheco's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Los Banos, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Pacheco wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Torres on the 2nd. As for Los Banos, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Lathrop on the 2nd.
