It was a good run, but Voyager Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 70-54 to the Burlington Christian Academy Royals.

When it comes to explaining why Voyager Academy lost, don't look at Manny Pullium. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 8 on his way to 18 points. Pullium continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Green, who posted 12 points.

Voyager Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Burlington Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Voyager Academy will head out to square off against Apex at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Voyager Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.8 points per game this season. As for Burlington Christian Academy, they will take on Southeast Alamance in a tournament on Monday. One thing working in Burlington Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
