Football Recap: Bradford Owls vs. DuBois Beavers

After flying high against Moniteau last Friday, Bradford came back down to earth. The Bradford Owls were outmatched by the DuBois Beavers on the road and fell 61-7. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Beavers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Talan Reese threw for 164 yards and a touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes. Logan Kohler was his top target, picking up 108 receiving yards. On the ground, Brody Haviland rushed for 29 yards.

Trey Wingard was a one-man wrecking crew for DuBois as he threw for 274 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.7 yards per attempt.

Bradford now has a losing record at 1-2. As for DuBois, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Bradford will look to defend their home field on Friday against St. Marys at 7:00 p.m. As for DuBois, they are taking a road trip to face off against Karns City on Friday. DuBois is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
