Preview: Coolidge vs. Anacostia
Coolidge will face off against Anacostia in a playoff game on Saturday. Both teams have allowed few points on average (Coolidge 17.18, Anacostia 3.27), so any points scored will be well earned.
It was all tied up 8-8 at the half for Coolidge and McKinley Tech last week, but Coolidge stepped up in the second half. The Colts walked away with a 22-14 victory.
Meanwhile, Anacostia earned some postseason bragging rights after a successful outing last Friday. They got past Ron Brown with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 14-8. They got scores from Jalen Webb - Starkey and Jamare Glasker.
The Colts were able to grind out a solid win over the Indians the last time the two teams met in October, winning 16-6. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Indians have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
