Volleyball Recap: Crossroads Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Crossroads Prep Academy had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Savannah Savages.

Reece Gould was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 17 assists and four aces. She has been hot, having posted 17 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

The victory (which was Savannah's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Coincidentally, Crossroads Prep Academy and Savannah will both be playing Paseo Academy of Performing Arts the next time they take the court. Savannah will head out to face Paseo Academy of Performing Arts at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Crossroads Prep Academy will play them later in the day, at 11:20 a.m.
