Baseball Recap: Eastwood Takes a Loss

Eastwood fell victim to Ottawa Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Green Bears, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Eastwood saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Norton, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Eastwood's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Ottawa Hills, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-3.

While Eastwood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
