Volleyball Recap: Tooele Has No Trouble Against Dugway

Tooele had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Dugway on Friday. The Buffaloes blew past the Mustangs 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tooele was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-8, 25-15.

Eliza Prescott paced Tooele's offense, picking up four kills. Prescott got some help from Presley Robbins and her 16 assists. Robbins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Tooele's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Dugway, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Tooele wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Grantsville on the 19th. As for Dugway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Pinnacle on the 19th.
