Softball Recap: Wamogo Regional Warriors vs. Thomaston Bears
Wamogo Regional kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. Their tough 15-4 defeat to the Thomaston Bears might stick with them for a while. The loss was just more heartbreak for Wamogo Regional, who fell 8-6 when the teams last met back in April of 2023.
Riley Sauvageau was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, a triple, and a run. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Wojnar, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.
On Thomaston's side, Sloan Walmsley made a big impact no matter where she played.
