Volleyball Recap: Hayden Wildcats vs. Baldwin Bulldogs

There's no place like home for Hayden, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They came out on top against the Baldwin Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hayden easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13.

Reagan Mcgivern paced Hayden's offense, picking up nine kills. Mcgivern got some help from Blakely Walter and her 24 assists. Reese Huscher controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hayden's victory bumped their record up to 28-10. As for Baldwin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-23 record this season.

Hayden has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Paola on the 26th. Baldwin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
