Dynamic duo of Caleb Hill and Malachai Waller lead Westover Christian Academy to victory

Recap: Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs vs. Timberlake Christian Tornadoes

In what's become a running theme this season, the Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Everything went their way against Timberlake Christian as Westover Christian Academy made off with a 54-34 win. The win was just what Westover Christian Academy needed coming off of a 64-34 defeat in their prior game.

Leading Westover Christian Academy to victory were Caleb Hill and Malachai Waller. Hill scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five steals, while Waller dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds. Landon Hardy was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Adrian Warrick and Matthew Howe certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Warrick scored 11 points, while Howe scored nine points.

Westover Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Timberlake Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westover Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cave Spring at 4:00 p.m. on January 13th. Cave Spring presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Westover Christian Academy in Virginia (Cave Spring is ranked 104th, while Westover Christian Academy is ranked 346th). As for Timberlake Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Westover Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westover Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.3 points per game.
