Basketball Game Preview: The Gregory School Hawks vs. North Valley Christian Academy Lions

Having just played yesterday, The Gregory School Hawks will get right back to it and host the North Valley Christian Academy Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Gregory School is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

The Gregory School is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Baboquivari on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Gregory School lost 56-30 to Baboquivari. The Hawks were down 49-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Rose Pisetsky, who posted 13 points and six rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sofia Arias-White, who earned six points.

Meanwhile, North Valley Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Trivium Prep on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win.

North Valley Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for The Gregory School, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
