Basketball Game Preview: White House Blue Devils vs. Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions

The White House Blue Devils will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. White House is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.4 points per game this season.

White House is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest victory since January 25th on Saturday. They blew past Christian Community 84-35. With the Blue Devils ahead 50-18 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

White House got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Louis Taylor out in front who went 8 of 12 on his way to 18 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Holt, who posted ten points and five assists.

White House was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

Meanwhile, Christ Presbyterian Academy came up short against Harpeth on Sunday and fell 55-43. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

White House has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
