Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Northpoint Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Westminster Academy by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Northpoint Christian couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lausanne Collegiate pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three games. As for Northpoint Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2-1.
