Baseball Recap: Quitman Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Quitman came up short against Edgewood, falling 19-8. Quitman hasn't had much luck with Edgewood recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19-1. As for Edgewood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Quitman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edgewood, they will square off against Malakoff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
