After flying high against Wayne Memorial last Friday, Stevenson came back down to earth. The Spartans were dealt a 39-7 defeat at the hands of the Belleville Tigers on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Stevenson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Belleville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Stevenson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 22-14 defeat against Glenn on the 19th. As for Belleville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 42-21 win against Churchill on the 19th.
