Vance County kept up with Franklinton until halftime  on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Red Rams really took it to the Vipers for the full four quarters, racking up  a  44-13 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Red Rams' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Franklinton got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Amani Blacknall out in front who picked up 93 receiving yards and two  touchdowns. Those  two  receiving touchdowns gave  Blacknall a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keith James, who threw for 114 yards and a pair of  TDs.
 Franklinton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Marj Hunt,  Amaure Williams,  and  Harrison Long picked up one apiece.  Cameron Williams was another major factor on D,  making 12 total tackles (5.0 for loss).
Franklinton's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Vance County, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
As of now, neither Franklinton nor the Vipers have any future games scheduled.
