Volleyball Game Preview: St. David Tigers vs. Pima Roughriders

The St. David Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Pima Roughriders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

St. David had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bisbee on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pumas. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Pumas: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Pima got the win against Leading Edge Academy - GEC on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

St. David's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Pima, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

St. David took their victory against Pima in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
