Recap: Anderson Raptors vs. New Richmond Lions
The Anderson Raptors won the last time they faced the New Richmond Lions, and things went their way on Saturday too. Anderson was the clear victor by a 70-49 margin over New Richmond. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Anderson.
Anderson was led to victory by Andrew Patterson and Cassius Black. Patterson scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds, while Black scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 steals. Another player making a difference was Aj Austin-robinson, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds.
Anderson's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for New Richmond, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson will square off against Walnut Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walnut Hills is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for New Richmond, they will head out on the road to face off against Batavia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
