Basketball Recap: Northmor Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Northmor had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They managed a 56-52 victory over the Centerburg Trojans. The Golden Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Aj Bower was a one-man wrecking crew for Northmor as he went 6 of 12 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bodden Landin, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.

Northmor pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Centerburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Northmor will host Loudonville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Northmor has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 187 points over their last three matches. As for Centerburg, they will square off against Fredericktown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
