Softball Recap: Henry Hudson Starts off Right with Win over Neptune

Henry Hudson had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 14-9 victory over the Neptune Scarlet Fliers. The win continues a trend for the Admirals in their matchups with the Scarlet Fliers: they've now won four in a row.

Neptune dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Henry Hudson will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Red Bank Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Neptune, they will welcome Long Branch at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
