Soccer Game Preview: Strawberry Crest vs. Sickles

Strawberry Crest has won four straight games at home, while Sickles has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Strawberry Crest Chargers will welcome the Sickles Gryphons at 8:00 p.m. Strawberry Crest's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Strawberry Crest is headed into the contest having not lost since November 19 and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Riverview could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Sickles won against Wharton last Tuesday with four goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. Sickles won by a goal and slipped past Durant 4-3.

Strawberry Crest's draw makes their record 7-3-2 this season. As for Sickles, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-1.

Strawberry Crest came out on top in a nail-biter against Sickles in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, sneaking past 3-2. Does Strawberry Crest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sickles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
