Armwood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Spoto Spartans out 2-1. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Diego Salinas and D'Angelo Lertora scored both of Armwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Armwood's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6-2. As for Spoto, they dropped their record down to 3-7-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Armwood face off against the Leto at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spoto, they will take on Blake at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spoto is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
