Volleyball Recap: London's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

London can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the River View Black Bears. The Red Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Black Bears, too.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16.

London's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madi Green, who had 17 assists and six digs. Green is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jayda Calloway, who had 11 kills and two blocks.

London's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for River View, they moved to 10-2 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. London will head out to take on Bellefontaine at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River View, they will venture away from home to face off against Meadowbrook at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
