Basketball Recap: Providence Hall Comes Up Short

The Providence Hall Patriots ended up a good deal behind the Cedar Reds on Thursday and lost 69-50.

Despite the loss, Providence Hall still got an impressive performance from Dallas Loutensock, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ryker Jones, who had 11 points.

Ty Rowley had a dynamite game For Cedar., putting up 25 points and five boards. Those five rebounds gave Rowley a new career-high. Owen Ryan was another key player, posting ten points and three steals.

Providence Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Providence Hall is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Ben Lomond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-43 victory against Northridge on the 21st.
