Baseball Recap: False River Comes Up Short

False River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Livonia Wildcats. If the Gators were looking for revenge after losing 12-1 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in March of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Travis Fields was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

False River's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Livonia, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-7.

Coming up, False River will challenge Liberty Magnet at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Livonia, they will welcome Woodlawn-B.R. at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
