Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Clay County Panthers
The Buffalo Bison won the last time they faced the Clay County Panthers, and things went their way on Monday too. Buffalo took down Clay County 57-43.
Buffalo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Asher Flanery out in front who scored 17 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jackson Mallett, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Buffalo's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6. As for Clay County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo will take on Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clay County, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Webster County at 7:30 p.m. Webster County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Clay County likes a good challenge.
