Volleyball Game Preview: Grosse Ile Red Devils vs. Erie-Mason Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Grosse Ile Red Devils and the Erie-Mason Eagles will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Monday, Grosse Ile came up short against St. Mary Catholic Central and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Falcons/Kestrels: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Erie-Mason suffered their biggest loss since November 9, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Lenawee Christian. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Erie-Mason's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Grosse Ile, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
